My current monitor recently quit working after only a year and a half. My old monitor was a 25.5" Asus I had purchased after reading the LCD guide:

For a replacement, I am looking at 27" monitors and I am looking for any suggestions? I game, some FPS, mostly strategy games (total war). My old monitor was 1900 x 1200 most the new monitors look like HD TV resolutions.
I am considering picking up a 27" Samsung that I can get for 279 at the local BJ's wholesale club. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...2E16824001392I
The monitor has speakers & a tuner. I don't need either. Is their a monitor you guys would recommend in the 300 + or - price range?
