I was sitting around reading emails, when my monitor does the little refresh thing where it goes blank for a moment, as it does if you are changing res or refresh rates...and it comes back with everything blurry. Restarting hasn't done anything, nor has leaving the comp off for a few minutes. I'm pretty sure its something to do with the monitor and not the vc...any ideas?
Thanks

Leave it off for a few hrs. Then try again, if it is still like that it can be the monitor or the graphics card.

Have you got a spare graphics card to hand? What about a laptop or a friends latop with vga out? Try that. If the monitor still has that problem with different graphics cards or laptops the monitor has gone to the monitor place in the sky. No it is not Dell

What happens when you change the refresh?

Next test would be to plug the monitor on another computer (if you can).

lol glad it works :D

Maybe it wasn't seated in properly? Probably that or something to do with a connection or possibly dust particles......
