heya..

i recently purchased a viewsonic a90f..and want to say it is a wonderful looking monitor, and text, games are real sharp too..but i just discovered the other day....i wanted to change my brightness settings..and the menu (from pressing external buttons on bezel) doesn't work! i just get a black box now! and i can't see where it says brightness or pincushon..or any settings! this is very very importatnt and annoying because i cannot adjust it! is it a monitor or a video/computer problem? i would assume monitor...
but what would u guys do? i would hate to have to send this back in already!..(ps..vid card is geforce 2 pro..if it matters..modded to quadro 2 😀)
 
From your description, it sounds like a monitor problem. Check with Viewsonic if there's anything you can do. You may have to get a replacement.
