Today when I booted up, the (Dell P990) monitor was pale blue where it is usually white. I checked in the Display window and everything is where it was last time I looked, restarted a few times, and ran Norton Utilities. I went into Display>settings>advanced>color management, and set the Default monitor profile to P990 (previously it said "none"), and nothing changed. Also iI hit the reset button on the monitor itself, which changed nothing. The computer is a locally made PIII running 98SE. Any ideas?

Go back into the display advanced settings and adjust your color temperature . . . cooler is bluish and warmer is rosier.

Check your cables and the connections to your PC. Sometimes a loose pin will cause discoloration.

Make sure you diddnt expose ur monitor to any source of magnetism...

I had the same problem and I realized I had a powerful magnet near my computer.... DOH!

I luckly the company offered to repair it for free ^_^
