Monitor (Samsung 950p) is jittering like crazy.

I just got home and noticed that my monitor was jittering (not flickering like it was a refresh rate issue). Basically, everything seems to be vibrating on the screen and in the upper right corner, I notice some flickering. Anyone know what is up? I tried changing the resolution and refresh rates, but no go.

What video card do you have it connected to? I have a Samsung 955DF and when I connect it to a Radeon I get the same thing. Recently I found a way to mitigate this. Post up your video card and I might be able to help you out.

Turn Fast Write off if you have a Radeon card..

My vid card is a MSI GeForce Ti4400...damn just as I was writing this I found out what it was. I had a fan plugged into the same outlet my surge protector is plugged into and unplugging it does the trick.

Hrmmm... jittering monitor... turn off the 50s music, that should do the trick.

Ahh, nice find. I guess your monitor didn't like the electronic noise the fan was inducing.

I had this happen only the fan was on the other side of the wall. I had to move the fan to the plug that didn't share a wall with my PC. This drove me crazy for months!
