Monitor resizing after standby mode

I have a ViewSonic A90 19" monitor, and a STB Velocity 4400 16MB TNT card. Everytime I "wake" my monitor, the size configuration changes. It's different every time. Sometimes the image is smaller than the screen, and other times it's too big. What causes this, and can I fix it?

Thanks, Rob

The problem may be you are useing a resolution and refresh rate that is not stored in the monitors memory. Check your user guide and make certian you are using the manufacturers recommeded resolution and refresh rate.

Good Luck

I play it pretty safe. I run at 1024x768 @ 85Hz. Should be fine for my 19" ViewSonic A90. It's not a big concern, just kind of frustrating.
