Monitor resets my 360 everytime i switch the input to it

I use my Asus VG236H 3D Monitor for my PC, and my 360. I have my sound going from my 360, into my PC, and from there they share the same speakers.

For some reason, whenever I switch TO the HDMI input that my 360 is connected to, it resets the 360. It doesn't do this if im playing a game a switch from the 360 to the PC input, because i can hear the game and its fine.

Is there a setting somewhere either in the monitor or the 360 so it will stop sending a signal to reset when the input is switched to?

If the 360 is powered off, does switching to its input on the monitor make it power on?

I know some TVs can send a power on signal to the device its connected to, when its switched to that input, if its connected with HDMI. I'm not familiar with the Asus menus so I can't be of much help, but try looking for something along those lines.

Just tried, it didnt turn on.

Yea, 360 will reset if the AV cable is unplugged, in order to detect and change to a new resolution. Sounds like the issue itself would be in 360 settings, but I don't see anything for that :/
