Monitor Questoin

hey guys i just bought a new monitor its the samsung 955df, i got it used for like 80 bucks at my local comp shop, the problem is that its max res is 1600X1200 @ 60hz, i dont want to go any higherb ut the frequency is pretty crap, but when i look at LCD's at 19 inch there all 1280X1024 max so i dont want to go there either, what are people using for 19 inch monitors i cant seem to find any others around my location, i would rather have CRT and cheaper. thanks

Your post is very hard to read, so I'm not sure what you are asking. Here are the specs from the Samsung site:

RESOLUTION Maximum 1600x1200 / 68 Hz
Recommended 1280x1024 / 75 Hz

So run it at 1280x1024 for a higher refresh.

If you absolutely want 1600x1200 on a 19" monitor there are many models that let you do that, however 1600x1200 on a 19" is pretty impractical, and a 21" monitor would be much better.

all fps ( first person shooters ) I play 800x600 no matter what best res for it plus you get highest refresh rate. I have a dell 17'' run cs 1.6 at 800x600 @ 100Hz.

i dont thbink ill go that low but ill stay at 1280 and set my ailisng at 4X rather than 2X
