The monitor I have, a Viewsonic G810, has a weird problem.
Any time I slightly hit the surface it is resting upon, the screen turns to black and I hear a sound as if I had hit degauss. Then the screen comes back on flickering, until it finally stablizes with a resolution that is smaller than what I have it set to display.
I can slightly tap the stand it rests on and this will sometimes make the screen resolution return to the correct specifications.
I have re-attaching the cables, both power and video, with no avail.
Any insight into what could possibly be causing this, and how I might fix this would be greatly appreciated.
