Well, I have been having a little monitor problem. I initally bough a Viewsonic P75f+ for my laptop since the terrible LCD screen was practially making me go blind. The same problem that was occuring on my laptop (while the lid was down and the monitor on) is now occuring on my desktop machine. Whenever I try to play Starcraft (dated, but I still enjoy it) the screen goes black the intro comes up and it's not centred on the screen it is shifted down and to the right too far. I have tried installing the hardware updates for my new monitor, I have tried installing new video drivers, I have tried changing resolutions, and refresh rates, I have even tried another monitor, could someone please help?
Also I can never centre the thing. There is always a downward slope, and arc or a bend on the sides and I can never get the desktop to line up with the edges of the monitor. In addition to this when I line up the top there is a downward slope, much like a very shallow and long valley that will not go away. I have already returned one of these because colors were off in the top corner, never got around to testing it with SC like this one though.
I am very frustrated, anyone have an answer?
