My new Asus A7N8X Deluxe will not accept my older monitor cable- Board= 9 pin male, Monitor=15 pin male. Any solutions? (yeah, I know, buy a new monitor--I'd like to put that off if possible....) THANKS EVERYBODY!!!😕
 
That board doesnt have onboard video, I think your refering to the serial port (ROFL), thats the only male connector I think the board has. I see you are new to building computers it seems, you need a video card. If you are just looking for a general purpose card you can get something like radeon 8500 (or perhaps a 7500 if your not much of a gammer) for pretty cheap now.
