Monitor out of range. How do i reset ?

i recently just moved my computer to an older lcd panel and after the XP logo loads and go into the login screen it is out of range. How do i reset it?

go into safe mode.

uh... how do i go into safe mode?

During boot up, press F8 when you see or just before you see the win logo. Usually this is right after the system post.

Or you can select the "Enable VGA" option from the list where safe mode is.
