Monitor "Out of Range"...Help!

I set my monitor resolution and refresh to high and now when I boot windows, my monitor gives me a message "out of range" (little box on a black screen).

Will booting in "safe mode" allow me to fix this (I'm at work, computer is at home)? If not, how can I get myself out of this mess?

Yes, boot up in safe mode. That should do it.

Same thing happened to me. Just boot in safe mode and change the display setting back to something that works.
