Monitor Not Turning On

I turned off my computer and when I turned it back on but the monitor is not working and its like its in sleep mode or when the computer is off but the monitor is on. How could I fix this problem?

Are you sure the monitor cable is plugged into the computer?

Does the computer make like it is booting into Windows (can you hear sounds/beeps/windows sounds?)

Yeah it's plugged in both ends. I hear all the sounds when it boots.
