Monitor not getting signal

I can't figure out any reason that the computer I built for my friend won't work right. I have tried three different video cards, one PSI and two AGP cards. Everything seems to be working fine internally, but the monitor just doesn't get any signal. I have put the monitor onto my computer and it works fine, same thing for the video card. I have completely taken it apart and rebuilt it from start to finish twice now and had the same problem each time. Could it possibly be a bios setup that needs changed? It is an Asus K8N motherboard, and it wouldn't work with the Geforce that my friend bought for it or the Radeon I put in it, so I don't think the video card is the issue. The monitor works fine so it isnt the problem either. What else could cause the monitor to not get any signal?

Thanks in advance for any help.

P.S. I have also had another friend look at it along with Computer Services at my school. None of us can figure anything out, although CS at my school doesn't know anything more than me and my friend do really.

Assuming that everything is set correctly in the BIOS, I believe it could only be two remaining problems. 1) ALL of the video cards you tried are NOT compatible with the motherboard - not impossible but not likely. 2) The motherboard is defective - that would be my guess.

Taken non-neccessary parts out?

Different ram?

Reseated processor?

Cmos jumper in right position?

Tried booting out of case to check for shorting out on case?
