monitor no display?

my friend recently installed via chipset 4in1 drivers and it froze at 90% on the installation.
he shut it down and turns on the the computer, everything is running but there is no picture on his monitor as if it wasnt there.
he used a different monitor and it still didnt show any picture.
he is currently using FX 5600 ultra with P4X400 chipset (dragon motherboard ultra plat.)
he has previously installed via chipset 4in1 drivers before with no problem.

anyone know the problem?
 
Likely candidates: MB, CPU, PSU, in that order. Anything else and it should beep (assuming system speaker is hooked-up). Start testing components. Good luck!
 
try clearing cmos on the mobo. I find alot of times when things are messing up just clearing that sometimes brings things back to life. especialy after a froze restart
