Monitor issues

I have a Samsung Syncmaster 955DF (5-7 years old) monitor running off a Radeon 9600 Pro and recently it has developed a nasty flicker. It is really bad on the left edge and top right corner. I'm not sure what may be causing it or if there is something I can do to fix it. Is it time for a new monitor?

I'd move it to a different part of the house, to *most likely* rule out the possibility of EMI.

Especially if you live under or above someone in a building.

OR, if you have a 2nd CRT, move it to the same location as the flickering CRT, and confirm whether or not it flickers at that location.

I hate EMI.
