Monitor hub/switcher

Long story short: I will have 2 systems in my dorm "room" (closet, more like) in the fall. Problem: not enough space for 2 monitors, kb, mice. I know there are devices that will route 1 monitor/kb/mouse set to multiple cases, and allow you to switch between the two. What is the technical name, and where can I get one?

It's a CPU switch. I use two of them (one on my test bench, one in my office to switch my athlon and PIII).Mine are made from Maxxtro. They switch 4 computers.Do a search on pricewatch.

Which Belkin do you recommend.I couldn't find my Maxxtro in the pricescan, but Most I saw in a reasonable price range would leave cables running in all directions. That would be quite cluttered. My maxxtro's run all the cables from the rear and it scans as well as indidual selection with Leds showing which computers are powered up.I am looking for that style only in a 2 computer version.
