Monitor HELP!

I need a durable monitor for my new build that will be mostly used for gaming.

I want one in the <$500 range, but a few more dollars won't hurt.
I've been hearing a lot about the dell 2001FP and the 2005FPW, should I get one of those? If so, which one?

I was looking more into FlatPanel's but i'll check that one out.

It's a Flat screen. Does that count? Flat panels and gaming do not mix well, but if you insist.
