Monitor grief, Please help

I have a Dell 17" Trinitron monitor. (Not a Dell system) Anyway, this morning when I rebooted the PC, monitor displayed the key icon (Control Lock) and the muted speaker icon (No speakers in this monitor) I am using the correct MS drivers(driver6.inf) though I don't think it is an issue with the OS (Win98SE) The display is "fuzzy/blurry" and I cannot turn the Control Lock off using the buttons on the fron of the monitor. The only menu on the OSD I can access is the control lock menu but I can't turn the control lock off. Any suggestions?

Anyone? I shut the whole PC down and removed all power. I will try later today.
