Monitor goes dark during Win 2K setup???

My monitor is going black just when the install setup is beginning (when setup files are being loaded).
The monitor goes dark for ~ 30-45 secs while setup loads the files it needs. This is also the time when Win 2k asks for any RAID or scsi drivers.... 🙁
So I can't load my RAID drivers, and then Win 2K doesn't see my hard drives at all......

Anyone else experience this or have a solution??????
 
I've tried 3 different ones, all of which work quite well with other pc's...... same exact thing occurs.
Anyone else????
