80GB WD HDD
Gainward GeForce4 Ti4200 (4x AGP Version)
Sony Multiscan E440B 19" Monitor
Abit KD7 Mobo
Thermaltake Xaser III 480w PS
16x Samsung DVD Drive
TDK Velo-CD 52x... CDRW

hooked through a belkin omniport SOHO 4 port KVM Switch

now.....my problem is....i get slight flicker....noticeable flicker.....i've tried running refresh rate all over the place, up and down, from 60 all the way up.....wat could be the problem?....also, i see two lines on my screen.....one is 1/4 of the way down from the top, and the other is 1/4 of the way up from the bottom....what is the deal here?....i like the monitor, but is this what kind of picture quality i should expect?....i hope not for sony's sake!......n e ideas?

Try running without the kvm. All trinitron monitors have the 2 lines. I assume u have never been infront of one. You get used to the lines and soon forget they are there, you never forget the quality of a trinitron picture.

Make sure your monitor drivers are installed.
Sometimes xp lets them loose after a driver update.
