Monitor - extra 2" worth $80

Im looking at monitors and i could get a samsung 995DF 19" for $250 of the 753df for $170. Mr. Anand reviewed the 19" and gave it good reviews, but is it worth paying 50% more?

Well, only you can answer that really, depends on what you do with your computer.

Me, Im on a 21", so you can probabaly guess what my answer is gonna be 😉

I think you mean the 955DF? I went from a Viewsonic 17" to the 955DF, world of difference, worth the measily(sp?) $80.00. Get it!

remember, the 955df can only 12x10@75... very poor IMO (*edit* ok, it seems to support 80hz max really, that was the "recommended" refresh, which is a little better *end edit*). I mean, it is a nice montior, but if you need a higher refresh, gotta drop to 10x7 (rendering 19" useless unless you're eyes are really that bad). And i think 16x12 is a more useful res for the 19" monitor.. so that's no good. they basically took the 755DF and put it behind bigger glass.

just some thought if you were looking to run at whatever res. personally, i get to have my sister's 753DF.. looks great. can't wait. heh. and for me, a 19" is a tad to big for my deskspace (home/school).

I use 21"ers as well. The extra $80 is money well spent.

Name me one other component that gets as much of your attention. 😉

I'd have to agree that it is well worth the $80 for a 19"er. You should be able to find a better deal that $25o for that Samsung though. Is that the price including shipping?
