A monitor I'm considering has a DVI-D connector on it and is supplied with a DVI-D cable. My graphics card has two DVI-I connectors on it.

Will the graphics card and monitor work together with the DVI-D cable provided?

If not, how do I get them to work digitally?

Yes, it won't be a problem. The monitor cable will simply pick up the digital portion only which is what it should do of the DVI-I connector.

Most video card inputs are DVI-I. That's because they provide legacy support for older monitors that only have analog inputs and they need the extra pins the DVI-I provides as those carry the analog signal.

A DVI-D cable carries just the digital signal, and will fit just fine on a DVI-I input.
