Monitor Don't accept his resolution

I were using Win98, but have some big problems, like crashs... Now i'm using Win2k, but my monitor don't accept the 1024x768 resolution, and it's installed, does anybody knows where may i find the IBM 2113-003 monitor driver for Win2k, i've already tryed IBM's drivers list, and Windows Update... Oh... and the 1024 resolution were full working in Win98..

Thankz

Lower the refresh rate. Win2k may be defaulting to 75Hz while Win98 defaulted to 60. It may even only support the 43Hz interlaced (not likely)

i've allready tryed to slow down the refresh rate, but don't have any option to be slower than 60hz... ibm stinks... poor monitors too =( i gotta buy my new pc

it might be your monitor is not plug and play, and you're not seeing the correct choices... choose a high end monitor ... something like Viewsonic 15E or something ...and then you'll see a wide range of choices ... be carefully you don't pick a choice higher than you know your monitor can actually use, or you risk damaging your monitor ...

i mean, choose a high end monitor in the Display Settings of win2000 ...

Well... i've tryed the ViewSonic 15E, and de IBM 8514... the same problem... do i have to put it in 1024x768 80hz and then put in 60? cause, nothing is working here =(

Thankz again
