For a CHEAP 19" monitor, yes, $150 is a good price. However, these are relatively high quality monitors--try finding a 19" with those specs cheaper than $300. These are pretty decent prices--I paid about the same on my G420.

I have a Sony G420S... using it right now. globalempire... about the differences--the 420 has built in speakers (which aren't that great), but it does have TWO inputs (and a switch on the front to toggle between the two). A wonderful thing if you have multiple systems or if you want to hook your laptop up to a big screen.

I know that there are posts floating around somewhere that discuss getting a 19"er for ~150-170 from staples after rebates and coupons.

I got the Viewsonic P95F for $226 from Staples yesterday It does higher res than 1600x1200, but I will be running that one at 96Hz with 1600x1200. It is perfectly flat, and has a lot of other nice features. It retails in other places for about $400 after tax. That was a steal. Don't ask me how I did it, it involved talking to a lot of really high mannagers, and it won't work again

sry..yes the are high end monitors and they are about $50 cheaper then anywhere right now...cant beat nextday shipping($120 value)

CRT prices have been dropping steadily in the last year. I got the compaq p900 from cdw.com last year for 300 shipped. This baby does 1920 by 1440, is AG trinitron flat, and has dual inputs in the back of it, with a switch on the front to switch between signals. (Basically a rebadged sony g400)

i believe cdw has the update model from the p900 that runs a diamondtron tube thats much cheaper as well.

Don't pay this much for a 19" monitor. Please. It hurts...

Are there any 19inch Crt that has a Digital input? I know a lot of LCDs offer it, but would like to have a crt to offer it since there are som many cards with it.

ahhh dont listen to anyone .. just keep on posting away ... if they have no interest in the thread then they shouldnt be here anyways
but then again I wont be surprised if I see this monitor drop in price within the next month or two .. I got my Multiscan E400 for bout $229 shipped on Ebay (thats if youre lucky to have a trustworthy seller ...
