Monitor Color Trouble

I currently am using two Samsung SyncMaster 915N's and am having such a difficult time getting the two monitors to match colors. I do alot of graphic work so its a huge headache for me as you can imagine. For example a color will be grey on one monitor and brown on the other lol. I don't believe the monitors came with any software and I've try searching SAMSUNG's slow site but couldnt find anything. Anyone have any advice to help me fix this problem? Thanks a lot in advance.

I have the same monitor.

It did come with software (a CD), however, I never installed it.

On the other hand, if you use Windows Update, it will most likely find some sort of driver for the monitor. It has for mine on both computers it was hooked to.

The driver will add frequency ranges for the monitor, but will not adjust the color (unless you happen to download and apply the included ICC profile).

Make sure both are set to the same gamma setting. Set one to a comfortable brightness/contrast setting. Then, turn off all the Samsung MagicBright stuff (if applicable) on both. Set both to 'user' for color control. Set the second LCD to the same brightness/contrast. Adjust the other LCD's R/G/B component controls until the picture matches that of the first LCD (if the color tint is different). You may need some more brightness/contrast adjustment on the second though.
