monitor color profiles

So here I am running dual monitor. But it gets annoying, especially when designing, when the colours on both monitors don't match. I was wondering if it's possible to set both colours the same? I tried setting both monitors using the same colour profile, but what else am I missing? Is it even possible?

videocard: radeon 9000 pro
monitor 1: syncmaster 151s
monitor 2: dell p991 (i think 991)
