I've people discuss free's ones available on the net but have cannot find any. The one I remember was a website with all the testing done from there.
Anyone have a link?
Thanks

AIDA32 also has a monitor utility in its Plugins menu. It doesn't have that convergence test that the Monitorsdirect site has.
It'd be nice if that utility was easily downloadable.

Just tried that NTest thing, and it looks like it has a good battery of tests. More than AIDA32, for sure. I think I've found a new tester. 🙂
Good link, anim8r.
And coincidentally, the monitors for my two main PC's are Nokia's. 😀

I've been using ntest since 1997 for all of my monitors. Has virtually every test you'll ever need for a CRT outside of individual gamma adjustments for each gun.

After going through the contrast / brightness sections of these tests, I basically ended up with brightness really low (like 25%) and contrast really high (like 90%). This is on a CRT (Hitachi CM721F). I think it does look better. Black is definately black and white is almost white. Has anyone else gone through these tests? What are your results? Do my settings seem out of whack?
