Monitor cable

I have a Gateway EV700A monitor that has a wire broken just behind the video plug. It sometimes makes connection and with the slightest movement the video signal is lost. Can someone help me with some vendors that I can purchase a replacement cable. Since the monitor warranty ran out, Gateway is not helping.

Your best bet is to take it to a TV repair shop and have them replace the cord... Or if you feel confident and have good soldering skills...? Just get a cord from a shop and do it yourself...?

If you fix it, I'd like to know how you did it. I have exactly the same monitor model and it just stopped working. Not that old either. I was about to throw it away.
