Monitor Burn

i jst got 3 19inch CRTs from my dad's office that they were throwing out and upgrading to lcd. 2 of them were used as security camera monitors. they were broken up into 12 sections and had an individaul camera on each section

obviously they were on a lot and the pictures can still be seen. is there anything i can do to fix this? i think not ubt its worth a try.

i doubt it, i think the image is actually burned into the back of the screen where the electrons hit. you could take apart the monitor and replace the glass, but it would probably be cheaper to just replace them, as youre doing.

Keep the one that works for a computer that you use, put a somewhat-burned-in one on a KVM that's hooked up to your servers, development, and testing machines, and either trash the other one or give it to a freind that you don't really like. ;)
