How can you fix a CRT screen that has a slight downward bow to the middle of the screen?

The monitor in question is a Compaq P910

Any help is appreciated! Thanks!~

Did you just get it? Is it an Aperture Grille?

If the answer to both is "yes", you don't and it doesn't "bow". Your eyes will get used to it, they are now used to a "bubble", so the flatness only appears as a bow.

If the answer is "No" to either, then I don't have a clue. :)

Just got it, yes, AG, yes.

However, it's not just something my eyes aren't "used to" ...

I can put a ruler up on the monitor at the top, the top left corner can be "touching" the ruler while the top right corner is "touching" the ruler, but the middle of the screen is about 4 mm DOWN from that. Also, the bottom center is about 3-4 mm below the bottom left and bottom right corners.

So it's not straight...

But, if this is just a "feature" or "downside" to having an AG monitor, then please let me know if this is the case! ;)

Don't worry, your eyes will get used to it. I experienced the same when I got my 19" Diamondtron.
