Moniter display isn't "crisp"

The text on the moniter isn't "crisp and clean" if you know what I mean. The text is blurry and it's straining my eyes. I'm sure it's a common problem with moniters, so anyone out there have any advice as to fix it?

Thanks in advance.

Contrast all the way up and turn down the brightness.

That or tweak the pentiometres inside but I recommend against doing that as it's quite dangerous.

I just tried that, didn't work.

all moniotors go bad after years of abuse. maybe its time to put it to sleep and move onto a new monitor? 😀

As much as I would like to, no can do. This isn't my computer, it's the lab's. I'm just using it and the blurry text was bothering me. Thanks for the advice though.

I like the General Hardware section, it's super cool and noobriffic! The only thing you'll get in here is smart ass replies... like this one!
