Update: How does 6:30/7pm sound for July 31?


Hello there everyone,

The last meet we had there was a great turn out for such short notice, and a lot of folks asked that next time, i give more than a day... sooo... how many would be interested in meeting for some food and a few beers at the Mongolian BBQ on Main St. in Royal Oak either Monday or Tuesday of next week?

Please post in this thread or PM me to say you can come!

Those that gave excuses before.... YOU BEST SHOW!!! 😉 We always have a great time seeing familiar faces and it is always great meeting new folks too!

Also, if you can, please post what day works best for you as Joemonkey is back up and wanted to see some friendly faces in the area again!

I'd love to go but weekends work best for me. Starting next week (conveniently enough) my evenings are pretty much shot. It's too bad but maybe we'll have another one on a weekend eventually.

I think next week's good with me as I get back from Wisconsin on Sunday.

BTW, I met Jack Roush and Carrol Shelby today...saw a C-5 take off...saw the U2 spy plane...heard Chuck Yeager speak...and my cars at this show are the 2008 Shelby GT500KR and Ford Racing FR500C "Boy Racer" 😀
 
Saw and heard it, it was parked right behind our tent. Jack Roush also got on our dyno display and botched his first run by missing the 2-3 shift 😛

I'm not big into planes, so I can't saw what else is there.

EDIT: I have class on Monday nights. Tuesday is wide open, just waiting on a reply from the girlfriend (she'll be there to protect me from you internet weirdos)
 
Tuesday would be fine w/ me too, I'm leaving for Allen Park at like 6am Monday, whatever time i get there i'm working until 5, so i'll probably be tired Monday evening, Tuesday I need to get some good sleep because i'm working from 8am to 5pm, then on Wed 8am to noon or so, then driving back... so i guess either day is the same for me, but as long as I don't drink beers in the double digits i'll be ok 🙂
 
Mondays are ok for me but Tuesdays I have hockey... I'd definitely be up for a quick jaunt stateside and a :beer: or two 😎

In case you guys are into football/tailgating and such, I'm about to rent a house 5 min (walk) from the big house, so consider yourself invited to booze and bbq on football saturdays 🙂

Hmmmm I might be able to show...I'm supposed to visit the lady's place on monday/tuesday We'll see what happens tho.
