MOneygram? is it trustful?

Helllo.
I just sold an Ibook G4 and buyer says he wants to pay via Moneygram.
So i asked him where he wants me to ship. he said Nigeria.

I thought i was a usual scam at first time, but next day he sent me a money order via MoneyGram, and moneygram sent me a confirmation letter that my moneyorder is on the delivery. They even gave me a trackback number via RoyalMail.

Should I trust him? He keeps saying that i need to ship right now for his daughter.
Do you guys think it is a scam? Is it clever that i need to wait and cash that money order then send it to him?

I dont know what to do.
I posted the Ibook on ebay, then he wanted me to deal outside of ebay.

1) He's from Nigeria
2) He's urging you to ship it right away
3) He's not using a trustworthy paying system
4) He's dealing outside of ebay
Conclusion- SCAM

If i dont send the package, did i commit crime 😵?

Obviously a scam.
Wait to cash that money order and I bet it will backfire.
O yea and when you cash the money order you have to wait a couple days for it to clear.
 
Then what should i do with that money order?
If it turns up fake 2 weeks later,
why did MoneyGram company approved payment?
 
guys. The buyer contacted me yesterday.
He lives in Canada and he is a doctor.
He wants me to send laptop to his daughter who lives in nigeria.

So, If i can talk to him via phone and confirm his address,
I can trust him and ship it. right? since he lives in Canada?

enough already...its a scam
 
ANy time you get a Money Order tell the user you have a 21 day waiting period befor eyou will ship something. Tell them to use paypal if they want quicker shipping.
THen take the MO to the bank, let them know you think it might be fake but you want to know how long it will take them to be sure that it clears OK.
 
Moneygram is trustworthy when you know the person who is sending the money.

Moneygram is not trustworthy when the buyer wants to pay by moneygram, cannot use paypal and wants you ship to NIGERIA.

Anything with NIGERIA should give it away, it should be like a sixth sense.
