MoneyBookers & Neteller

Well I've decided to dump PayPal and look for greener pastures. As my fortune spared me, I don't have any PayPal horror stories to tell, but I have certainly heard of a few, and also given their fees for transfers, etc.. are somewhat high, I figured it was time to head else where.

In my search I came across, MoneyBookers & Netellers

http://www.moneybookers.com/app/

http://neteller.com/home/index.jsf

I can't say I've personally used either but I did sign up to both, and my understanding is with Neteller there are no fees to receive money, now I like that. :)

These companies seem like a good PayPal alternative for those looking for one, and I just wanted to share this with others, whom I'm sure would love to find someone else besides PayPal.

My understanding is they are both legit companies and I highly suggest you try them and see for yourself, then we'll know for sure how well they work out.

I think our saviours have come, and I hope these work out great and one day put a dent in PayPal.

Sorry, I didn't mean to insult you or your reputation on the forums. Just neffing and not thinking.

Oh I changed the post around now to include Neteller in it.

I just signed up with them, and I'm waiting on my bank verification so I can receive funds from people. So I'll keep you all posted on how well Neteller turns out.

Thank you for your apology HamburgerBoy, and please be careful next time, many of us value our reputation here.

Thank you again, and have a Merry Christmas :)

Yes I've noticed this, but I like that there are no fees to receive money.

I'd like to hear from others about any other great PayPal alternatives that you have first hand experience with.

I found out the Moneybooker, and Neteller aren't so automated, you have to deposit money into your account, and then from there you can send money to others, and to receive it at least for Neteller you need to verify your bank account similar to the way in which PayPal does it, making a small sum amount you verify.

Moneybookers doesn't seem to do this bank verification.

We used to use netteller to deposit money into our poker accounts, to get around the fact that all major credit cards deny poker sites.
