My friend wants to pay me $60 and just wonder if anyone knows the best way to receive this money. She lives in germany. I am thinking paypal but dont know how to receive money from her. Thanks

WIth Paypal, you can send someone an invoice, I think. Then they can probably pay by debit or credit. Transaction fees are 5%-ish?

Otherwise, more banks have email money transfer now, but I have never used them, so don't know how they work, and if they work internationally.

Money order works too. Go to bank and ask, but your retail banks usually eff you in the ass with charges. Think I paid $5 for a $20 money transfer once at my main branch.

PayPal.

Any foreign currency service will charge $10 fee (or more). For that small sum, just bite the percentage fee from PayPal.

Paypal as gift unless they need verification of merchandise transfer.

I use it to get $$ to offspring that need it quickly. I am not paying WU or MG charges of $5-20 jsut to bail them out.
