I made a deal a week or so back, and I got a money order. What do I do with it? Do I cash it just like a check? Can a money order be canceled?

bingo. if its a post office MO and you have to mail some stuff, they'll do it too

Cash it like a check. You'll get the least amount of hassle if you bring it to your bank where you have accounts and bring a piece of picture ID (just in case).
 
what if the MO is a USPS money order, could u deposit it in your bank or can it only be cash @ the post office?
