The bad thing is I assume Michaels & Madden will move to ESPN, meaning the ESPN crew will be no more. And I really liked them (Mike Patrick, Paul McGuire and Joe Theisman)

this only really hurts the NFL... abc loses a money pit.. still makes some money since espn is showing it.. nfl loses a lot of viewers by not having mnf on network television

that's what they got for giving exlcusive rights for EA.

I want nfl 2k6 🙁

I'm not as upset about this as I am the Sunday night game moving to NBC. I *hate* NBC's presentation of college football, I hope they change it up for the pro games. .

I was thinking about this at work today. A year ago I was saying the only reason I even watch ABC is for Monday Night Football. Now, with Lost, Desparate Housewives, Eyes, Grey's Anatomy, and Alias, ABC has enough popular programming that they're not going to miss MNF at all.

Monday night football is important to the league. If they lose ratings, it hurts the nfl almost as much as the station imo. Poor decision by the league to price it so high its going to cable instead.

I actually don't care if espn or abc airs it...but in my opinion sundaynight football is the best of all the other networks presentation of the games so hopefully this will continue with monday night football.

are they still considering two games in that time slot so that if one game sucks a$$, they have another one to fall televise???

anyone else hear about that???

They will still have a local non-cable channel carry the game, so just relax everyone...
What do you mean - like if the game is in Dallas, a Dallas station will carry it? That doesn't do the non-cable customers in other markets any good.
