You are correct. It all depends on the day you catch em on. I usually order from NE, ZZF AND Monarch, and either one i use I always get good service. Usually ZZF I get same shipping as NE, never ever had a problem with them. Lately as others said NE has raised their prices quite a bit on differnt things, but still douable.
Dont turn your back on one vendor VS the other. All 3 are good vendors, and now lately I have started to order some things from ChiefValue.com.
All 4 are good vendors, I never had a problem. I mean if that is the case then I should be really ticked off with NE, cause the last 2 orders they sent me were DOA for BOTH, but most of the orders from NE usually I get good hardware, just happened that this time I got DOAs. Things happen, dont hold a grouch against one company or another. If U in a hurry, yeah order from NewEgg, but U will spend more money. If not, then get ZZF or MOnarch or now even ChiefValue.
It all depends on what U want when U want it. NE has the BEST SHIPPING, hands down, but quite a lot of times ZZF AND Chiefvalue gets me the SAME shipping, depending on the order.

Just my 2 cents.

Well as you can see I am new to the whole forum thing! However that does not mean I have not been buying form these companies before. I have tried almost all of them! I have to say as far as Shipping they all have their points good and bad. However I am customer servies based guy! So I would say Monarch and zzf Rank way up there! Newegg not so much. Monarch always has someone to talk to and thier forums are great. zzf they have never kept me on hold long! Let me know when Egg gets back to helping and serving us and I will go back until then I will stay with the Fly and the Butterfly. 🙂

If they shipped it within 2 days they promissed... and saved u 15 bucks.... I dont see why u have to cry... if ur time was so expensive u wouldnt be wasting it playin games!

I've ordered many times from Monarch and ZZF. Both have been very prompt delivering items to me on the west coast.

ZZF, Monarch, and Newegg are my preferred vendors and all are usually pretty good about getting things out. I bought a Venice 3000+ & DFI NF4 combo from Monarch on Sunday night. They shipped it on Tuesday. A days not bad. It was about $8 more than Newegg and came with the freebie Far Cry and Half Life 2 bronze.

As for ZZF, I've placed 7 orders from them this year (mostly because they're normally cheaper than Newegg nowadays). 3 were shipped the same day. 2 the next day, and 1 was shipped 2 days later. The last order (7800....) might have shipped today or might not have, it has showed as packed for the last 8 hours. Even if they take a day longer than the Egg, the 2 day shipping normally makes up for it. In my area FedEx has started holding express saver packages for 3 day deliverys now. 🙁

I don't care for zzf either. their updates to inventory are very poor, and after ordering a few products that listed as in stock and then getting back order emails I chose to never order from them again.

Well not to bash anyone company but I don't see why Newegg has to have some many differnet names? I mean dang!! Newegg = Chiefvalue = ABS = Rosewill I just don't see the need much?

I actually prefer zzf to monarch. I made three separate orders to zzf at night on different days of the week, and they always processed and shipped the next day (and with free 2day shipping, I didn't have to wait as long). Monarch for me on the other hand, I've ordered two things on separate days and they took four! days to inform me that one of the products I ordered was out of stock, and it wasn't even on their out of stock page. I also ordered the MX1000 mouse from them, but that took only two days before they shipped it, which was better than the other order, but still not as good as zzf's speed or newegg's.

If I had to choose I'd go with Monarch because I'm in FL and they're in GA. But I always come back to the egg because they usually don't stick me with a restocking fee on defective items.

I wish I didn't live in TN, else I would order from Newegg. We have a 9.25 % sales taxe here in Shelby County. It's just unbearable.

Sometimes a company might take a couple days to ship and not tell the customer. Sometimes they might even forget to put something in a box. You make it sound like they do it on purpose. You've got a couple dozen people putting orders in thousands of boxes per day. There's quite a margin of error there. Want them to hire more people to keep the QC up? Well... There goes those low prices! 🙁

I will pick Monarch, theu have better services & prices. Zipzoomfly service is really svck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
