No idea actually. Its just that Monarch has done this twice in the last two weeks. They lowered the price last Friday to 169 for the OEM 3200+ and this last weekend it was 168. All I can say is wait and see.

Yea, some help I am eh? 😛

Not sure about the OEM, but the retail 3200+ has been at 191 for days now. I've been watching...

They sure love playing games with the prices, I see it as $186 now.

Not sure what you are seeing, but it is $169 for an OEM 3200+ s939 cpu.

I bought one this weekend for $168 and got the free shipping (5-7 days) but it is due at my door tomorrow. Somehow I got Fed-Ex 2 day shipping instead of ground. w00t!

i just placed an order for an oem athlon64 3000+ for only $129 hurry before it's gone. can anyone point me to a cheap efficient quiet fan? thanks

thanks got the alcu. i was running this on my p4 setup and it worked great. so for $10 i get a much better and quieter fan, even though i lose the 3year warranty i've yet to use warranty for any of the cpus i've owned and built for people which is over 50.

Thanks OP! I just got an OEM 3200+ from them tonight. I can't wait! I have a 3000+ right now but I really wanted the 10X multiplier so I sold the 3000+ to my bro.

The Zalman CNPS7000-AlCu keeps my P4 3.2E at 36C idle, and I have to listen to hear it even if the RPM is above 2500.
If it can keep a P4 cool, it should work well with a 3200.

In the not to distant future, I intend to find out. But now the 3800 even at $425 is very tempting.
But I think one could have more fun OCing a 3200.

i sent an email requesting a cancellation. no replies no nothing. and it's been 5 days. sent another email requesting and update yesterday. very poor cust. serves me right. i shoulda stuck w/newegg🙁

DAMN and i ordered my 3200 just 3 days ago at svc.com for $168 shipped + TAX. damn, woulda got a 3000 from monarch instead at these prices.
Damn, that's what they had the 3200 at when AMD announced the price cut. They jacked it back up the next day when Newegg kept their prices up.

This is one of the few times I hate living in Georgia for purchasing gear. 🙁 I hate taxes!
