monarch just dropped prices on athlon 64 3000 and 3200 939

oem 3000 is a ridiculously cheap 135 shipped
retail 3000 is $148 shipped


DAMN and i ordered my 3200 just 3 days ago at svc.com for $168 shipped + TAX. damn, woulda got a 3000 from monarch instead at these prices.

Don't get your hopes up, cuz it will be in the $150's in 48 hours. I'm thinking they pull this stunt by lowering their price and bumping up their price the next day so we talk about them. It's a great free advertising for them on the forums.

I wouldn't exactly say it's positive advertising though. Does Monarch run on a supply/demand system like Newegg does? I've heard that Newegg's prices adjust automatically based on something being a hot seller.

It is very similar to the one included in Retail box versions of the CPU. Not the best, but would suffice for most.

thats true it seemed to happen last week when they dropped the 3000 retail to $148. and then upped it a few hours later.

i guess we should always wait till friday night for monarch deals.
