More like "why man... WHY???!!"

With all the power you get from an Athlon64, you're pushing it through a piddly little mx4000 video card?? That's like putting 1/8" aluminum plates on a tank for armor.

Also, I won't purchase a processor, or mobo, that doesn't have a 3 year warranty (MSI boards do, as do the retail processors). I've yet to see the oem processor save more than ~$10 compared to the retail version, so you're NOT saving anything by going the oem route. If anything, you're spending more since you have to purchase a cooler JUST to use the chip. Better off getting the retail processor, a third party cooler (if you want one) and get the 3 year warranty. Then, if anything happens to the processor (other than killing it via overcocking) you're covered. Makes it much cheaper in the long run (over 90 days) since you'll save the cost of a replacement processor by spending <$10 more on the chip.

Yeah , no if the CPU dont die in the first 90 days it'll probably last for a very long time and I saved about $40 ...$40 is cash towards other things.

Ive been building my own PCs for many years and have only have one CPU fail and that was due to my own error.
