Monarch Computers

I found the PSU I want on Monarch computers for about ten dollars cheaper than anywhere else. I've never heard anything about this site though. Has anyone ordered from them before? Are they a good site?

I have always had good service from them. NewEgg does get things to you faster but an extra day or two isnt a biggie for me.

Their selection on their site is not as much as newegg, nor their site is organized for a proper search like newegg, however price is comparable and maybe cheaper compared to newegg IMO. Their shipping is decent and usually no more than a week's time in arrival.

Never had a problem with orders. They all came in flawlessly.

Also, I like their combo deals!

Works best if you know someone that works there then you get overnight for free 😉.

It's been a while since I've ordered from Monarch, but I've always found them to be very reliable and the customer service was great. My only (minor) knock against them, and this may have changed since they've upgraded their online order system, is that they're a little slower to ship than some of the other resellers. The positive side of this, of course, is that they apparantly take the extra time to accurately verify your payment information and ensure the order is correctly placed and packaged. All in all, I would definitely recommend them to anyone inquiring about them.

I ordered from them. Hopefully all goes well and I have my PSU soon. It'll be nice to turn my PC on without having to plug it in several times to make it work.

order from them if you really need something from them, because you'll probably find the particular item for a cheaper price elsewhere, like Newegg.com or Directron.com

don't bother e-mailing them about an order, they will be late sometimes (has hap'd to me a lot) and will not reply back. newegg has faster order processing and faster shipping, always pay for newegg's rush processing I recommend

got my opty and ram from them.

nice packaging. slow time to ship. took them about 5 business days to ship 'in-stock' ram

They always have good prices and a good rep. I don't order from them though because they are in Georgia so I would get charged taxes which kills their deals for me.

Here is information on Monarch from resellerratings.com.

Hope it helps.

i don't hate monarch or anything but personally i'll never shop there again. i did have a couple orders go smoothly but that was followed by 2 poor ones and a general feeling of incompetence and apathy from them.

also, keep in mind when looking at their resellers that they are known to contact those that leave negative feedback and offer discounts if they will remove it. not that they are the only ones who do this but it should be taken into account.

heres a different approach they used here.

that said, alot of people have had good expeiences with them and they certainly won't take your money and run.

I don't like when companies do this. As far as I remember, it's against the "rules" with Reseller ratings for merchants to offer any kind of incentive for people to rate them, offer any compensation for good reviews, or "bribe" people to remove bad ones. Even if it isn't agains the rules, it's just dishonest practice. We ask customers to rate us when we mark the order as delivered, but I wouldn't ever offer any incentives for doing so, nor would I try to pay someone off to remove a bad review.
