Monarch Computer

Are they normally this slow? I ordered all of my parts from Monarch, ZZF, and Performance-PC's. All of my orders have arrived EXCEPT for Monarch. They have ARRIVED. Monarch hasn't even processed my order yet. Are thy normally this slow?

I've never had any problems, I orderered 2 CPU/Mobo combos (a couple months a part, my and my brother's computer upgrade) from them and other misc parts from newegg. As I recall on the first one Monarch arrived first (could have been the other way around by they were within 24 hours of one another) and the second one they literally arrived on the same truck (both a day early according to fedex tracking).

Granted 2 experiences doesn't necessarily make a pattern. 🙂 But I'm happy with em so far and that way I don't have to mess with thermal paste and heatsinks.

monarch is the worst right now.

i ordered parts from 4 different vendors on a sunday nite, just single components, nothing special. all the other vendors, even buy.com, shipped the order on monday.

monarch? i get an email from them at 9:43am monday saying my mobo has been "sent to the warehouse". thats where it sat for the next two days before i cancelled the order and got it from the egg for a few $$ more. i had even paid for two day shipping from monarch 🙁

what a joke. i guess monarchjoe is no more either as i pm'd him twice and got no reply.

so unless monarch has an absolute steal, like they sometimes will, i'll get everything elsewhere even if it means paying a few $$ more.

Not sure what happened, but they went downhill fast. Their "We're just having some growing pains" excuse is a little worn out.

I ordered my Leadtek 6800GT from Monarch Computer in June. It took 11 days to arrive. I finally received the card which turned out to be disfunctional. I had to RMA it which took another 10 days. Doesn't do any good to call them. Very poor customer service.

Will stay with Newegg & Zipzoomfly for all future online purchases.

I bought my current CPU and mobo from them (A64 3200 Winnie, K8N Neo2) and on the same day, ordered my 1GB of RAM from NewEgg. They arrived the same day, which was 2 days after I ordered them. It was last November, so they might've changed since then, but I had no problem with them.

Also, it could have something to do with where you live. IIRC, they're in California, so you can't expect 2 day ground shipping to Maine 😉 .

Monarch is located in Atlanta.

Ok, I just sent them an e-mail asking them what the hold up was. B!tching sometimes gets you somewhere, so hey, what do I have to lose?

IIRC, Newegg has East & West coast Logistics. (New Jersey, right?) So, that would make sense for a customer in Maine to receive that fast.

i just ordered a 3700+ san diego last week from monarch, it took 2 full days from the time I ordered it for them to ship it. Not too terrible, imo. Message MonarchJoe on here...

OmG! That can't be right - they gave me the same line over two years ago.

It is a pathetic excuse used by many shady companies for well over 20 years now, maybe more but I wouldn't know since I'm only 26.
