I just ordered this PSU last night from them for that price. I hope they are decent.

Have no worries, they are high quality.

I've noticed that some of the items, like this OCZ modstream, aren't available for selection when tryin to build a custom desktop. Anyone know if you can pick and choose items from the parts side and then still have them build it? $50 for building is definitely worth it to me, plus a warranty.

I've just talked to the web department, and that power supply should be listed in the configs shortly. In the meantime, you could always call us up and one of the guys can get you a quote on your system with it in there.

Waited for backordered parts from NewEgg so long I looked elsewhere, found Monarch...they had the parts and had them cheaper! The only bad thing is they don't ship 24/7...ordered midday on a Friday and they shipped Monday :-(

I ordered a "retail" BFG GeForce 6800 GT PCI-E from Monarch Friday afternoon and selected FedEx 2 Day delivery. They shipped it out later that evening and it arrived this morning. Now that's what I call some efficient packing and shipping! However when I opened the FexEx box I saw a plain jane white shrink wrapped box that said retail w/ a lifetime warranty.

Now I've been working in this industry for many years, and I have never seen a white boxed card sold and labeled as "retail boxed" from a vendor. Humm......maybe I'll post pics tomorrow for those interested.

Yes they do have fast shipping, but........
I ordered a combo from Monarch and a few other things. The same day I ordered a few itrems for Newegg. I received my Newegg order before Monarch even shipped.

I've had great experience from them. Reliable and great tech support that's easy to get a hold of. But they are not the fastest, that much is true.

Monarch upgraded my ground shipping to FedEx 2day shipping for free. I didn't even ask nor was I even in a hurry. If I was in a hurry I would have gone picked it up. I only live about 35-40 minutes from Monarch. 🙂 If I didn't have to pay tax for being local, I would buy most of my stuff from them. But because of the evil tax, I usually buy from Newegg.

Monarch has 9/10 resellerratings which is similar to Newegg. They are great computer etailer.

It's the tax that keeps me from buying from them. That's money I could use to pay for shipping alone.

i like using monarch computers too. if you do there custom built computers or combo motherboard/cpu, they'll setup it and test it to make sure it works before they send it to you. this comes in handy if you order a 90nm athlon 64 and a motherboard that doesnt have the updated bios flashed to it yey to support the 90nm chips.
