Has anyone had any experiences with these people....good or bad?

I`ve never heard of them, but now im seeing them on pricewatch.

There's a monarchcomputer.com listed at ResellerRatings. Is that them? If so, they've been around a long time and are at 5.5/7.0.

I purchased a Gainward GF3 Ti200 from them and it was a decent experience... their support isn't too great though.

my brother picked up an athlon combo from them, and my friend got a barebones system from them. Didn't really ahve to deal with support too much, but it was cheap and everything worked.

Stuff arrived on time and in perfect condition. can't complain.

Haven't tried their support though.

Agree. Had to return an item for repair and it took a long time to get it back. They do talk a good game.

If you're talking about Monarch Computers down in Georgia, i've used them before. Pretty average online vendor... nothing fancy, nothing to make them stick out as being either particularly great or particularly lousy... just professional and efficient. Last time i bought from them was back in the KT133 board era, when i bought an MSI K7T Pro2A from them. Got a good price on it, shipping costs were okay but not great, and i got it exactly 3 days later, and everything was in order. I'd feel perfectly fine ordering from them again.

I also got a k7t pro 2a from them about a year ago. It died after 3 months though, but I had a replacement in about 10 days, no problems. They're expensive though. Personally I only order from Newegg these days.

They are ok to buy from, but if you have to return something, FORGET IT! I bought my Lian-Li PC-60 from them without much trouble. My brother bought a Geforce 3 Ti 200 from them and had to return it. He lives a few minutes from them so he brought it in and asked for the refund. They said they had to take the card and test it and it would be 2 days before they could issue the refund. Over 2 weeks later they STILL hadn't issued the refund and lied about it several times. My brother finally got his bank involved and the bank gave him a refund around the third week. After leaving a negative comment about them on resellerratings, Monarch called his voice mail at work and left him a threatning message saying he had better remove the eval or else! Bunch of creeps.

Thanks for quick replys. Well I ordered k7v dragon+/2000xp/Dynatron combo. Best price/warr on pricewatch. I hope I dont have to return it.......lol.
