I think the distinctions between m/b manufacturers have blurred greatly. There doesn't seem to be much difference between 2,3 tier nowadays and I wouldn't know how to group them now.

There are some brands associated with the budget market but they are pretty decent when used with decent power supplies and memory.

I'm surprised Epox is has high rma's since I've used a couple m/b's and found their phone/email support to be pretty decent and in the US too which is a plus for me.

You have to look at the big picture world wide,Epox may have a high failure rate in one place or part of a particular country while in another they could have a very low failure rate, all down to quality control/batch in question and where they are made, also if you put the user skills into the equation then you get a whole new ball game.

Just think how many motherboards are made each year world wide? Can anybody here truly give an accurate reading,I think not.

I received a reply from Dabny after suggesting Monarch carry the IWill DK8N Dual Opteron board:
"Thank you for your request. Unfortunately, Monarch will not sell IWill
motherboards due to a very high failure rate we experienced with their
products. If there is a comparable product you are interested in, please
let me know. Thank you for your time and patience. We appreciate your
business.
