I need a momentary push button.

just one. need the button to be somewhat short and wide.

anyone know somewhere online to get something like this?

just go to radio shack.

in lieu of that, jameco, mouser, digikey, all electronics, etc...

Locally, Radio Shack may have one. If it must be online, then Mouser is a good place that may also have something that will work.

What's it for? You can probably get one at an auto parts store as well...in fact, I THINK I've seen them at Lowes and Home Depot.

I purchased one for a physics demonstration - seems I got it at HD or a local hardware store. Radio Shack didn't seem to have as much stuff in stock for 110V vs. typical battery voltages.

Its for a modded 360 controller. Will check RadioShack today. I bought some there before, but they sucked and were hard to press.

Any plain doorbell pushbutton is a momentary-contact switch. Look around for one that has the appearance / size you want. They only handle small voltage and current, however.
