Mom has chronic cough, needs endoscopy and colonscopy

No one else. Rest of the family is in Canada. She insists on getting a cab both ways, even though she will be taking the day off work and I'm done with school until Sept.
 
Just go to her house that morning. Maybe she feels that she doesn't want to inconvenience you? Sounds like something my parents would do.

She's just being silly. Take her. And make sure she eats afterwards, too.

Last time my mom had a colonscopy she thought she had an upset stomach and she didn't want to make it worse, so she didn't eat. When I found out (a couple hours later after I got off work) I convinced her to eat some crackers just to get some food in her stomach and sugar back in her blood stream. Her hunger returned quickly after that.
 
OK, nobody freak out.

Mom has fluid in the lungs, broken rib, and cervical cancer.

She's being taken care of this weekend and is off for 6 weeks. I promise to keep you updated.
 
Getting the hysterectomy this afternoon at 1:50.

I know several of you have slept with her so I thought you'd like to hear about it.
